The loud music from below disrupted our sleep, and the owner's unprofessional response added to our frustration. the room was clean and we appreciated the complimentary parking.

the lion is a nice spot for a quick stay. the room was huge with a comfy bed and large tv. the water pressure was great, and it filled the bath super fast. dinner was amazing—had perfectly cooked fish and steak. we really liked the tasty garlic mayo with our starters too.

Had an amazing stay with splendid meals! The roast beef was exceptionally tender and a highlight. The takeout scampi was hot and delicious, too. I would definitely return!

Had a lovely time here with comfy beds and a delicious breakfast spread that really set us up for the day. The garden area was perfect for relaxing, and we also enjoyed a few drinks at the bar after dinner. Just a small note – the decor in the ladies' room was a bit off-putting but didn’t ruin our fun. 😊

Our recent stay was enjoyable despite a few hiccups. The warm atmosphere made us feel at home, and the clean, well-furnished room was a delight. Be sure to dine at The Long Dog nearby. it served some of the best meals we've had! Request a room at the back for tranquility.

The breakfast selection was outstanding.

The Lion Waddesdon boasts a charming decor, creating a cozy atmosphere that made me feel welcome. The well-appointed spaces and accessible facilities ensured I could navigate easily throughout the pub with comfort and ease.

A few more accessible features would be appreciated.

Awesome stay for food lovers!

I had a fab time here! The rooms were beautifully decorated, comfy, and clean, def worth it. The food was top-notch, especially the calamari! Just wished breakfast was a bit more exciting. it felt kinda basic. The bar area is chill and friendly, perfect for winding down. such a good deal for the value!

The staff were genuinely friendly and always willing to help, really enhancing the overall experience. the room could have benefited from a more thorough cleaning, as I noticed some cobwebs in the corners.

The staff were very attentive and made me feel at home, which is particularly nice as a solo traveler. The location was perfect for easily accessing the event, and despite a bit of noise from the nearby road, the room was comfortable and clean.

the double glazing helps with noise but the front facing rooms are next to a busy a road which might bother light sleepers.
